I lived in NYC for 20 years. Visiting a couple months ago, I had never before seen a mother and her child begging for money in the subway, until then. You're high on a basketball game.

You must have been living in an upper east side bubble.

Definitely not, but lovely snide assumption.

How ironic that the socialist mayor celebrates a team of millionaires and a billionaire owner achieving excellence - the opposite of equity.

I think you're in for a surprise.

YES!!! New York City kicks a$$, and this place has never been better.

Very well put.

Lived across 4 cities in the past 10 years. I would definitely agree that NYC was the most happening!

Honestly even though I live in SF in my 30s, if I was in my 20s and it was between striking it rich playing unicorn roulette in SF or a pretty average NY experience, I would still choose NY in my 20s every single time. You can make money later in life but NY in your 20s…it’s priceless.

Was in NYC in April for a week for the first time in my life (Cali since I arrived to the US). I get it. There's things for all sorts of people. Jumping at the chance to visit again next week.
